Reposado Rosa has an exquisite rosé hue and is aged for 2 months in French oak red wine barrels, giving it a rich mouthfeel.

Añejo CRISTALINO

Añejo Cristalino is aged for a minimum of 1 year in French oak white wine barrels, then charcoal filtered to create our stunning cristalino expression.

Añejo Reserva

Añejo Reserva is aged for 12 months in a blend of French oak, bourbon, and sherry casks, creating a luxurious expression with rich chocolate and fruit flavors.

Extra Añejo

Extra Añejo is aged for a minimum of 3 years in both French oak white wine barrels and American oak whiskey barrels to make a truly opulent expression.

Process of the making Komos

At Tequila Komos, each bottle is a testament to the art of craftsmanship and dedication to flavor. The production process begins with slow-cooking the finest blue agave in traditional brick ovens—a time-honored method that unlocks the agave’s natural sweetness and complexity. This careful cooking method lays the foundation for a tequila that is both rich and nuanced.

The cooked agave is then fermented with indigenous yeasts, bringing out layers of flavor that make Komos tequila distinct. Following fermentation, the spirit undergoes a meticulous double distillation, refining and enhancing its smoothness.

But the journey doesn’t end there. The tequila is then carefully aged in a selection of French oak wine barrels, each chosen for the unique characteristics it imparts. These barrels, having previously held a range of fine wines, add depth without overshadowing the tequila’s essence.
